Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

MEJA Construction is committed to the environment through our support of The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. Our company recognizes this industry-shifting trend to meet the ever demanding ecological needs of our client base and is committed to further broadening our base of accredited personnel to implement this company wide mission. Our firm has numerous LEED Accredited Professionals on staff and promotes a continuing program to educate and accredit our construction professionals.

As an active member of the US Green Build Council, MEJA advocates the use of Green Building programs in construction. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. The many benefits of LEED include the reduction of the impacts of natural resource consumption; improvement to the bottom line of a project; enhancement of occupant comfort and health; minimization of the strain on local infrastructures; and improvement of quality of life.
